  Edward Marcroft Sidwell wrote the family about 1964. This is some of the information we learned at that time.
  
  He was adopted as Marcroft Sidwell. The dates and places of the marriages are as they were given, with much missing. At the same time that Edward was sealed to his adopted parents (21 Jun 1905), Manti, Lafayette and Gideon were also sealed. These sealings were recorded in the Manti Temple book E, p 161.
  
  Edward lived with Ada Sidwell from 15 Jan 1904 until about 1910 while she was alone. They provided help and company for each other, then when some of Ada's family returned to Manti, Edward was sent elsewhere to live. He next saw Ada ehght years later and has kept somewhat in touch with the family thru the years.
