  I had a dream two nights ago that was so vivid and real. My Father dropped in to visit me and my family. I was overwhelmed with a sense of how very free his spirit was. The best way for me to describe it would be approaching a wild stallion. He was full of energy, strength, happiness, and excitement. He was constantly moving around like he was just so excited to be alive and full of energy. Father was trapped inside an aging and sick body for a long time, and I do believe that he is now happy, healthy, and free.

  Kenneth Alma Thomas, 62, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 30, 2012 in Hildale, Utah. He was born on February 1, 1950 in Hurricane, Utah to Alma Lewis and Julia Wilson Thomas. Ken married Pamala Kay Wyler on October 4, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later divorced. He married Laurel Gersch Riddle on February 14, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kenny liked watching and collecting movies, playing and teaching the banjo and guitar, yodeling and square dance calling. He loved his dogs and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Kenny had a great sense of humor and a warm and hearty laugh. He was extremely generous and quick to give a helping hand. Survived by his wife, Laurel; parents, Alma and Julia Thomas; children, Katie (Scott) Rohbock, Kenneth Benjamin (Margaret) Thomas, Bethany (Carlos) Rubio, Gweneth (Gregory) Owens, Rachel (Teresa) Alires; step daughter, Heidi (Kristin) Riddle; sisters, Lorie (Marvin) Wyler, Marilyn (Richard) Sandberg, Pamela Black, Martha Dutson; 32 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughter, Grace Lureen Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening and 1 hour prior to the services. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
