"During the past week the girls in the girls' chorus have been trying for parts in the Glee Club. There were about seventy-five girls trying for parts and Mr. Jones found it somewhat difficult to pick the best voices, because they were all good. However, after a process of what might be termed as elimination, Mr. Jones picked the following to be members of the High School Girls' Glee Club: Kathryn Sheen, Louise Delaney, Vera Workman, Margaret Howard, Anna Levey, Phyllis Adamson, Helen Leondia, Ruth Sanger, Margaret Adamson, Bernice Burbidge, Leah Parrish, Lavina Jackson, Ella Don, Ethel Workman, Nolla Stewart, Alice Lefler, Lela Christensen, Laura Cossey, LaVon Gleason, Lola Despain, Ada Olsen, Helen Lindstrom, Bonnie Stonebraker, Lola De St. Jeor, Darlene Druise, Wanda Gordon, Florence Berry, and Amyu Springer."
