  The Patriarchal Blessing of Anna Mariah Hulet Perry, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Hulet, born in Nelson, Portage County, Ohio, December 11, 1819.
  
  Ann, in the name of Jesus Christ I lay my hands on thy head and I say unto-thee let the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ rest upon thee and his love be shed forth in thy heart.
  
  Thou art of the seed of Abraham and of the lineage of Ephraim and inasmuch as thou hast been faithful in keeping the commandments of thy God his Holy Spirit shall rest upon thee and fill thy mind with the light and intelligence of Heaven.
  
  The Heavens shall be opened before thee and the Holy angels shall minister unto thee. Thou shalt be blest with health and long life and days shall be multiplied on the earth and thy posterity shall receive the same blessings.
  
  Thou shalt be made an instru in the hands of thy God, setting an example in the Church and Kingdom of God, worthy of invitation.
  
  Thou shalt have power to call thy friend's and kinsfolk into the Kingdom of our God and rejoice with them in the new and everlasting covenant you be submissive to the will of Heaven in all things, having the Spirit of peace and quietness resting upon thy mind continually.
  
  Great blessings wait thee and thy posterity after thee to the latest generation. I seal thee up unto Eternal life in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
