  Almer, Laun and Walt all went to the Muddy in 1867, the year Mary was moved.

  Brigham Young wanted the various settlements to enter into some sort of united effort. Orderville decided to go all the way, even to eating together. Orville and his two families and some of his sons by Elvira were part of that effort. Communal living made their efforts more efficient, and the community prospered. Where many of the families had been barely surviving, they now had adequate food and clothing. They operated a woolen mill for making clothes.

  When the Order broke up, Orville went back to Fairview with Elvira, and his other 2 wives went to where their families were located.
  
  The older people were happy with the Order, but the young people saw what the outsiders that had good paying jobs in the local mines were able to buy and wanted more modern clothes. And as conditions changed in Utah, the Church leaders advised ending the Order.
