CHARLES BENJAMIN COX

CHARLES BENJAMIN, second son of Jonathan, was a prosperous miller, who owned mills at different places. After the Civil War he went West, visited his relatives in Utah, then settled in Santa Rosa, California, where he and his wife Margaret Lockwood (also found as Lockhart) Cox died.

He was sent to the Senate twice from California and once from Iowa. He had 8 children. He was born 12 Jan 1810 at Union, New York, and died 27 Apr 1892.
